The story of this Champagne house begins with the meeting of two winemaking families, those of Thérèse Tissier and Guy Dauby. In 1956, using some plots of land inherited from their parents and through hard work, they built a vineyard on the best slopes of Aÿ.
Guy and Thérèse – the grandparents of the current generation of winemakers – shared a common vision: to cultivate their precious land with passion and in harmony with nature. Their daughter, Francine Dauby, in turn, passed on the craft and the love of nature to her daughter and son-in-law.
Some of the 8 hectares of vineyards the family owns today come from the best Grand Cru sites – such as Aÿ, 100% Pinot Noir – or Premier Cru sites – such as Mutigny and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, divided into 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Their vineyards in Barbonne-Fayel on the Côte des Blancs (100% Chardonnay) complete the holdings. Harvesting in this last area has been organic since 2024.
