Culinary accompaniment

This champagne is excellent as an aperitif, but also works wonderfully as an accompaniment to a lighter yet delicate dish such as smoked salmon or scallops. It complements both the subtle sweetness of a fine dessert and the creamy texture of a Chaource or Brillat-Savarin.

THE SENSORY EXPERIENCE

This champagne impresses with its harmonious interplay of delicious aromas (apple, crisp pear, and citrus fruits) and subtle toasty notes. On the nose, it offers ripeness with floral freshness, releasing aromas of fresh fruit and ripe pear.

A clear, precise opening, followed by a radiant freshness. A rich bouquet, a result of the long aging process of over four years.

Michel Rostang, head chef of Maison Rostang in Paris, on this champagne:

“The Cuvée Le Réserve is a delicate cuvée full of finesse, ideal as an aperitif or with a rather light and refined dish that does not dominate the wine […]”
