Fine almond and brioche notes, a hint of peach and a pleasant berry freshness from red fruits (raspberries and cherry).
This cuvée is the estate's historic blend, made predominantly from Pinot Noir. It owes its name to the reserve wines that were aged in oak barrels. Extended aging imparts a subtle complexity, combining fruit, roundness, and minerality with a beautifully long finish.
Manuela Prieth, our sommelier, writes about this champagne:
"A cuvée that combines power and harmony. On the nose, red currants and sour cherry, accompanied by a delicate yeasty note. On the palate, creamy and full-bodied, with red berry freshness, a soft texture, and subtle oak spice that adds depth. The perlage is fine and restrained, the finish fruit-forward and balanced. A Premier Cru that appears classic yet remains multifaceted – ideal for those seeking Champagne with depth but without heaviness."
